x5l won't power up.

hello. i haven't used my cowon x5l for about a year now. i found it yesterday and tried recharging it and powering it up. i get absolutely no activity from the player whether hooked up to the computer or to the wall wart. i tried resetting it too. am i screwed? is this a common issue for inactive players? thanks.

Try letting the player charge for 24 hours or more. If you don't get any activity after that, you're probably screwed....though you might try contacting Cowon for a battery replacement.

i have it plugged in right now. the green led on the ac adapter is on, but there is still no activity from the player. i might just give in and buy an ipod tomorrow..

I have exactly the same problem... Is this likely to be the battery? I'm just trying to figure out whether I should put a new battery in or not....
