My friends have CDs, and I would like to copy them exactly as they are to another cd (I have one CD-ROM and one DVD-RW), will the quality of the CD vanish? will part of the sound quality fade away/lossed ?

Nope.
Just Download EAC and follow the applicable instructions found here: http://xs.vc/eac/ to make your copy.
As long as you don't compress it to a lossy format you won't lose a thing.

ok, but if I use the Copy-cd option in nero ? will that be a problem of some kind in sound quality ?

Probably no loss in quality, but I don't know nero so don't quote me on that.
EAC (Exact Audio Copy) is free, and I highly recommend it! It is one of the best audio ripping software out there... and itīs free! [toungue]
I see no reason not to use it.
I canīt really answer your question (I donīt want to spread rumours), but I think your better of with EAC.

The answer is no; I use Nero to copy cd's , and no problems in the quality in the sound!![wink]

as far as i know if you are copying from cd to cd almost any program will do and you wont lose quality since so compression is being made. data is data.
