How about making a tamagotchi clone for the D2? Anyone remember those cute virtual pets? If I remember right .. the original had only three buttons.

BTW me expecting my D2 on the 10th of this month (yay!) [smile]

Hmmm. Could be a lot of work. First of all you need to draw something that looks and acts 'cute'. Then you need to come up with all of the conditions that can happen and how the various interactions will affect the tamagotchi.

I suppose it would not be hard to make a super-simple one and expand on that.

The vertical album art music skin is with madman at the moment. I last worked on it on the weekend. I think it is fine to 'release' (I'm using it!), but he is making a few changes. There are a few options we have for making it better, but I'm happy to put them in to later versions. I am interested in writing a proper coverflow version, actually. Although I have heard that Apple sometimes gets upset when people 'copy' the concept.

I guess that would mean implementing a simple neural network huh? And we all know there is nothing so simple about that one!! :D

Generally not my style of game but I searched around a little after spotting your post, maybe this is the sort of thing you are looking for? I tested it on my d2 seems to work perfectly, the text is fairly large.

And, the site I found it on.

I only looked in the small subsection containing 'Poppy' maybe you will find something to your liking, I don't think they are all flash games but there should be some at least.

The thing is that save function is VERY needed, the ones u posted looks very nive but dont think they will be able to save on D2?

A little friend who is enjoying music with you inside the flashUI could be cool to.
But it needs time to program tough, and i think it drains lots battery power.

You have to save a tamagotchi? ... I guess the developers perpetuate the illusion that those silly things have depth [blink] Maybe I'm just digital pet intolerant.
