I'm really interested in buying the X5, but I don't know where, since no one carries the thing here. Any help would be appreciated.

www.ecost.com accepts international orders.

ecost.com never reply to your emails, so you can't get shipping quotes from them. I'm not going to pay for an international call to America just for a quote.

Where do you live? I live in Thailand and luckily a local importer just imported x5 and put them on sale this week. If you have found no luck, http://www.geekstuff4u.com carries and ships x5 from Japan. The price is a little steep but they also carry x5 remote control and cradle that are available nowhere, except korea.

After I emailed them (ecost) 8 hrs. ago to ship here in kuwait, they reply and said...

Not in stock...eta is 1-2 weeks!

Just can't wait for this item!!!! wow!

There are a few Japanese places doing them. Saw a 20GB X5L on eBay with the cradle and remote. Bonza.

Not sure which part of Asia you are in but, X5L-30Gb is already in Singapore. Been quoted S$699~S$734 for it. Going to go take a look at it this weekend. :D

heyz hei,

I'm from Singapore too, n i bought the X5 on an impulse 2 days ago. However, on 2nd thoughts i think i'll wanna wait for the X5 20GB instead, as i dun have much use for the extra 10GB nor extended battery life. Just wondering whether u might like to buy the set from me. I'll knock a couple of $$ off the std market price (I'll make a loss of course), but i can assure ya that my X5 is in pristine mint condition, as i handle it as if it's my 2nd life.

If u're interested, leave a msg here yea? :)

Oh well, too bad. I couldn't wait and just bought my set 2 days ago too. Managed to find a lower price than those quotes. :D

Very pleased with the X5L myself. Played almost 18 hours of music off it yesterday. Long day in the office. :)
Wasn't as bulky as I feared after holding it. It wasn't thatNot that much different from my H120 and as a matter of fact looked and felt smaller. There was a H430 displayed beside it and looked like a large brick in comparison!

Hope you can find someone for your X5L. Good luck!

chic, am tempted, but right now cash flow not so good, have to either wait till payday at end of month, or buy from shop with credit card. if ur in a hurry, suggest you ask around some more.

sorry lah, of course would like to have it as soon as possible, but no money means no money...

Hmm... no rush.. u lemme know when ur cash flow improves? I won't suggest u buy with credit card tho, coz most shops in SLS wld impose 3% addtional for credit card purchases.

Anyway, i'm not exactly in a hurry, so do lemme know if u're still interested. U'll haf my eternal gratitude for bailing me out, if dat counts for anything :P

below $600. ask around, it's being sold at at least 2 of the ground floor shops next to each other, and another one on 2nd (or third, can't rem) floor...
