Possible to update firmware?

Hi, can i update the firmware in my D2 to 3.53 or 3.53b and. And is this firmware version available in english?

Yes you can. Just download the firmware file and put the files in folder "0" to the D2 root folder(the first one when you open the D2 folder) and unplug and turn on. It will upgrade and turn off again. Then plug it in again and do the same as before except put all the files in folder "1" to the D2 root folder and unplug. It will upgrade again and turn off again. Now plug it in again and put all the files in the "2" folder in the D2 root folder and unplug. It will upgrade twice and shut off. Turn on again and done. Also those firmwares do support the english language. Enjoy.

Cowon D2 was designed to have frequent firmware updates... due to this upgrading procedure is rather simple and safe.

hey (first post =D)
i just bought a D2, firmware 2.41 and downloaded 3.54 and i did what daremos said, put 0 in unpluged, turned back on, plug back in put 1 in, turn it back on, and finally 2, and then turned it back on, but the FW is still 2.41, do i have to update it to a certin one first than 3? And also did i have to take out the 0 before putting in the 1 etc.? Thanks for any help

disregard my first post xD found my error forgot to take files out of the folder...

You have to copy the contents of the folders to the root of the D2...Not the folders themselves.
