You mean a loudspeaker integrated in a cradle? The answer would be no right now. The X5 does not have such a peripheral.

I've never liked that kind of thing anyhoo. Little tinny speakers? No ta, my lappy's bad enough. Phono output into my hi-fi, more like. :D

yes, the line out to a HiFi system is better but, when do you haven´t a HiFi system -in my case, in my beach house. in the city i have a Okkyo HiFi but is not portable- it may be a great soluttion.

and other peripherals? have iAudio X5/M3 any peripheral?

Then try this. It is originally designed for the iPod / iCrap but I emailed the company and this thing will work with just about any DAP. I love this. Guys....take a look at htis link and tell me what you think.

I think a cheap pair of those PC speakers with one cord (so you can just plug it into the line out) would do the job.

oOoh those JBL's are pretty nice.

Altec Lansing also makes one like that (connected via the 1/8" jack).

No idea how they stack up against the JBL's but colorwise they match the X5 ^_~

but, i see than any other company makes peripherals for cowon products.

may be when the X5 becomes the real -and natural- iPod Killer.

For me the M3 is also an iPod Killer.
