Putting Photos and Movies in the player

If the iaudio x5 can take in photos directly from a camera and be able to view it, would it be able to do the same if it were a video? Would you always need a computer to make a video viewable on the player, or is there a way to get around that?

You would be able to transfer it, but you would not be able to view em on the player until you convert it.
