Hi everyone, this is my first post here. Im getting frustrated by this hard to explain but unmissible crackling sound that seems to accompany the playback of mp3 songs. It is most noticable on quiet parts, where just a few notes are played. The notes come out clearly as they should, but at the same time, crackled up versions of the same notes seem to come in at a higher frequency. This probably isnt making sense, but someone might now what it is about. I have tried listening to the same file with the same earphones from my computer, and the crackling is not present. The other strange thing is that if i convert the file to wma or flac, the crackling goes away completely, but if i convert it to ogg, the crackling changes to a more constant fuzzy hiss, but more than just background noise.
Apologies for the badly worded problem, but if anyone knows if this is a fault with my particular player or just a fact of iaudio 7 life, then i would very much like to hear. Thanks everyone.
Oh and also, when in music browser mode, when exiting or opening artists / albums that leads to a list of files/folders longer than can fit on the screen, playback of whatever it is im listening to pauses for a split second. It is very annoying. But it doesnt occur using file browser mode, so thats what im using now.
