Video RECORDING quality - A3 vs. 605?

Hi all,

I know this is a bit of a longshot, but does anyone have first-hand experience comparing the video recording qualities of the the A3 and the Archos 605 (or any Archos, really)?

I don't really know what ASF at 3 Mbps is or looks like (that's the recording format of the A3 from the specs).

Ideally, I'd really love to see sample clips from each...

Ya I'm going to do some recording straight from my HD cable box ASAP (common UPS! lol)

I was going over the A3 manual and it wasn't exactly clear as to whether or not it is even able to record from Component... I hope it's able to...
