Anyone know when the x5 will be avaiable anywhere besides Cowon America?
www.ecost.com has listen and so does suntec, but anyone know DATES to when theyll be really out?

I ordered my player on a sunday with next day delivery, got it tuesday as would be expected.
Cowon even called me on monday to comfirm the shipping address. They sent the expected slew of emails as well (comfirmation, shipping notice, tracking, info). Needless to say, I was quite happy with them.

right, im sure Cowon was good, but when ecost gets them, the x5 will be sold at ecost for considerably cheaper.

Yep it's available in Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, UK on pre-order and Korea of course!

as a canadian buyer, i just need to know which will have it first suntec or ecost. Only problem with suntec is that they havent update their site for a good while=/ so we have no damn idea when they will have it

I noticed a state/province option on Cowon America, are you sure they don't ship to canada?

I think cowon ships to Canada..
just that there might be customs charge on it..

Newegg lists it, and I know that won't show anything unless they actually have it in stock. If they run out of inventory they let you put it on a wish list, but won't let you order until it is back in stock. I don't know if they ship to Canada, though, and they are currently charging as much for the X5 as Cowon. They have a great price for the M3 and M3L, though.

If you add an item to your cart at New Egg and type 99 for quantity, it'll tell you how many units they have in stock.

They have 14 30GB X5s and 11 20GB ones.

At the moment it looks like it will probably be a bazillion years... I've contacted a few online retailers in Australia, and they've all told me that they're looking at getting it but don't have any set date...

Hey guys, sorry if I sound a bit like an ignorant by asking this but I have e-mailed Cowon America's website and received no answers. When I go to Cowon America's website and input my zip code to calculate shipping the message "((We do not presently accept AP...)" appears under each shipping option. Do any of you guys know what this means? Also, what payment methods does Cowon America accept? I would appreciate if anyone here could answer my questions since as I already said, I have received no reply from Cowon's website. Thanks a lot.
