itunes m4a convert

I recently bought the D2, but cant seen to find a converter for my itunes m4a files. Anyone know any good free software?

MediaMonkey is probably the best free music software, it can do pretty much everything.

how do i use mediamonkey to convert m4a files? Im a real newb sorry if its a dumb question

Select the files and either right-click on them and select whatever the transcode option is called, or go through the toolbars and select whatever looks like the transcoding option, I'd say.

MediaMonkey does have it's own very helpful website also. I'm not saying you should toss this kind of question over there, but they might have the info more readily available.
