A3 boots up with washed-out screen

My A3 sometimes boots up with washed-out screen. Like somebody just turned up the LCD brightness to 20 (it only goes up to 10!). It would stay that way until I turn it off. Tapping on the unit sometimes get rid of it.

Seems like I have a defective unit. Anybody?

i haven't experienced that problem,but it sounds like a hardware defect.

It seems like I had a bad unit. The new one seems fine.
