On-click action -> Skin developing

Hey there,

I just got a minor question to the major skin developers out there.

I'm currently re-creating buttons for my upcoming theme, and it seems to be working just fine. However, when I click and hold the button ( play, back, forward, etc (which are not as big as the default ones)), their transparent backgrounds get highlighted with a somewhat (about 15% reduction from solid colour) transparent gray background.

Now, having that cleared up, my question is:

Is there any way to work around this, and remove this or am I completely stuck with this?
