Hi is anyone bought a A3 or is it for next year January febuary 08 ?

It's available. In the EU and Korea at least, I don't know about the states.

Have a gander at some of the threads in this sub forum to learn more on the current state of affairs with regards to the A3's availability.

Thank You Dominic, for your website. I ask this question because i ordered the a3 since 6 th november and every week the shop add one or two weeks for the date avalaible... it was announced for 11th november... and 14th december now, it's for the 19th may be another day after that. i'm less and less enjoy.. i hope my english is ok, i 'm in france.

it's cool danydan, ummmm did you order from pixmania by any chance?

I'm not sure of which EU stores sell the A3 other than AMP3.co.uk, they recently got stock.

Exactly, Pixmania since one month and half nowwww [mad]! they said to me they hadn't it in stock the day i ordered, but they had already sell it in the past !!! i didn't know the A3 only the X5... i know now the a3 is completly new product, and pixmania had never sell it [no]!!

Now it's for december the 19th [cool] ? i'm waiting

I hope they do get it in, if not then you can always order from AMP3.co.uk (http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/shop/Portable_Media_Players.3/Cowon_Systems.15/IAUDIOA360GB/iAudio_A3_60GB_Portable_Media_Player.2788.html), prices are slightly less than pixmania and AMP3 definitely have it in stock.

I was in the same trap from Pixmania. First delivery date was for begining of November and they kept postponing. The last date they had was 14/12, so I waited. Exactly in this day, instead of seing status change into something like "shipped out today", again they postponed to 19/12. I canceled the order and ordered it from advancedMP3players. I hope to receive it by tomorrow. Pixmania can keep postponing how many times they want, now. Actually, I was very angry, as well.

I understand now i'm not alone in that case, i can do nothing, because i give them back my x5 who had an error function on the microphone, before gave it back to them, they told me they was out of stock (meaning they already sold A3 they confirmed yes by phone).. but for the 11th november it would be in stock !! we are now the 18th december now !!! YES I AM VERY VERY ANGRY, in stock 19th december !? [confused] wait and see !!

Well, now that Amazon has a price on the A3

It's gonna get tough and interesting thinking which to get?

the A3 (60GB) at 399.99 or the Archos 605 (160 GB) at 399.99.

If I get an A3 I'll be getting it from the states! It's SOOOO much cheaper even if it gets caught be customs!

DanyDan, if you can get around this x5 issue with them, do it. As I told you, I cancelled Pixmania and bought from AdvancedMP3payers.co.uk. I got it yesterday. They had stock, went out of stock and restarted stock within 2 days. And they can deliver you quite fast by UPS (1-2days for outside UK), for a little more in freight costs. It was worth, for me.
