currently visited Newegg and saw that they dropped the price by $49 off the 40GB (making it $509) and dropped at least $19 off the 60GB(making it $579).

plus... here's a review from a customer at Amazon.

ecost.com has much lower prices ($539 for the 60GB). Not in stock, though. And ecost's reputation is..well, spotty at best. I think their lifetime rating at resellerratings.com is about 2.5 out of 10, IIRC. I remember reading more than one review where the customer ordered what he thought was a new unit, only to receive a refurb.
Zipzoomfly has prices around ecost's, but a much better rep. But, they're also out of stock currently.

but still you can't go wrong with those prices

Sorry, I wasn't trying to threadcrap. I was just trying to give more options.
You also can't go wrong with newegg's customer service. I got my A2 from them at an outrageously low price, just because they screwed up another order I'd placed earlier. They really go the extra mile to satisfy.
