i saw their website last week when mentioned by someone else, although it not really borderfree since we do pay dutes & tax, it fun to know that we know the exact final prize.
by suntec you could be lucky and not pay a penny or you end up paying tax i guess
Wow I like the price! Suntec mentioned they would beat EVERY competitioner in iAudio DAP prices so it should be even less AND we have the "iaudiophile-discount", so the price with Suntec could be ~290$ which is 229€ (here in Germany it is ~349€ (officially 389€)
But does Suntec ship to Europe as well? And if so, how much would they charge?
And @ Rahul K.: I find the Ecost.com website rather cluttered, where could I find their shipping costs for countries outside the US?
Nope Suntec does not ship iAudio DAP's to Europe!
But my sister is in the States until August (I can get it in a month) so thats not a big problem for me!

Rahul K.
1. They do not have them in stock yet
2. They do not ship internationally, you have to arrange collection
3. Expect customs to sting you for import duties (plus fees) - 17-20%
4. Cowon only offer a country specific warranty - so you would have to send it back to the US for repair.
Internation Customers goto the following link

i emailed sales@ecost.com asking them the shipment cost to India.
they said that they will ship only via Fedex(international) and the shipment charges will be 20$

It is a special discount when you add it to your shopping cart. Hope it stays like this for some time. :):):)

ecost. Well I mean shopping cart special. Add it to the cart and see yourself the price. The bad thing is that they don't have them available yet.
The price I see is the same as cowon america's maybe the old price was a bad estimation.
Add it to your shopping cart and they add a discount. They don't seem to have it in stock yet, though.

i tried it back this morning, it seem that they have it in stock now but when you add it to cart it doesnt put the rebate anymore
other days of the week, it would say: not ready for international shipping but it didnt give me this msg this morning
Huh, they seem to have removed the special now. It doesn't look like it's in stock yet, though.
Shit, I lost 50 bucks from buying from Cowon.

Now now, we all know how painful it is to lose 50$, but watch your language young man :)
Nobody is losing any money because the deal is gone, I guess they decided there wasn't enough profit in it, or priced it at that as a mistake.

on friday, i ordered at ecost with the discount. i'm hoping that it was part of some "early bird" sale.
i did get an email confirming the order placed.
even if i dont get the discount , i dont mind..i just want the x5 in my hands!
all is good
just letting all you bargain hunters know, pcmall.com has the x5 for 325 USD once you add it to your cart, but it seems to not yet be ready to ship (call for more information). shipping is free after MIR apparently, but that looks sketchy to me

Shipping at pcmall seems pretty steep, although the total for the 30Gb is still cheaper than through newegg if you opt for standard shipping.
