Hey there.

I owned a iAudio 6 for approximately two days when I returned it to the shop because it had so many flaws, I don't even want to think about it. And now I'm scared to buy an iAudio 7 because I think it will be the same experience.

I loved the 6 for it's raw musical power and I read that it's the same deal with the 7.

You have to convince me that the 7 won't stall, reboot or crash when I touch it.

the reason for those flaws i believe was the fact that the iAudio 6 was HDD and the iAudio 7 is Flash-Based.so no more having crashes.

TB08 maybe your iAudio 6's HDD was faulty or you just used some old firmware? Which firmware did you had on it and did you ever upgrade it? I'm just saying this, because I've owned iAudio 6 for over a year and had no problems.

I think it was 1.27 but I'm not sure. I had the latest, so it should have been 1.27 but it didn't help.

Yeah, that's the newest, but did you upgrade the firmware by yourself or was it already 1.27, since the upgrading can mix up the player if you don't do it properly.

Hmmm, it already had 1.27 preinstalled but I couldn't tell if the shop upgraded it or if it already was 1.27 out of the factory. I didn't try to update it myself, since it already was 1.27 and I saw no reason to do it again. Should've tried that.
