A3 Firmware

i'm in the UK and i bought the A3 yesterday on Totenham Court Rd (£320 for 60 gb). It's running firmware version 1.11A. Where can i find updated firmware? i've checked Cowon USA & Korea sites but there's nothing there. a link to new firmware would be great!

thanks for the welcome & the link. Is this 1.14a beta firmware english or korean?
i haven't tested the A3 that much - it seems to play all the file formats i've tried - audio sounds good that's about it. this is my first cowon (i've just sold an archos 605 & an ipod touch!!) so it takes a bit of getting used to. i need to read the user guide and use the player more before i pass judgement.
fyi i bought this because i wanted to play higher quality audio files BUT as i'm a mac user i'm finding it difficult to get i-tunes to play flac files (i've tried a few programs) so at the moment i'm using COG to play the files and Cd-Ex (using VM ware to run windows) to rip from cd's - but this is a bit of a hassle. Maybe i should just use AAC Lossless - it'd be a lot easier!
oh yeah, compared to the Archos's touchscreen i'm finding the joystick a bit clunky.
i may yet move on to a Q5W!

and which has a better screen - a3 or 605 ?

1.14A works fine on mine.

The language was already English from the previous firmware and this one didn't prompt me to change it.

Language can be changed at any time from the Setup menu.

I would also like to know your opinion regarding the Archos 605, as the 160GB capacity was very tempting.

i only had the 30 gb Archos - it was good BUT the internet browser was a bit of a waste and having to add plug-ins for certain codecs was a drag. Screenwise i prefer the cowon.

I got my 60gigger for £303 using a coupon with Advanced MP3 Players. Thanks for the info on the firmware, I'll see if it makes the video playback any smoother.
