What's it going to be?
A tiny HDD player with 4 GB capacity, 0.85 inch hard drive, OLED screen and USB OTG?
Or is it going to be the next Jukebrick? 80 GB capacity with 2.5 inch drive and a feature set greater than that of my current PC?

Let the speculations begin :-D

iAudio M3 with a screen, yes yes yes I know "booooring," is what I would like to see most; the M3 will gain a much wider appeal.

Thankfully, we are seeing "jukebricks" falling into the background (Even creative has gone 1.8" ), so Im hoping that this is not true... Even smaller units, such as the m3 itself, are extremely well featured

I think they might be heading in the way of colour displays. And I hope they do -- the M3 remote is swappable :D

I was wondering that. If it was possible to use a different remote with the M3, for example if they brought out a new remote with a new M3.

This is a huge advantage, it would be pretty straight forward to have quite a major upgrade with a new remote and FW. Color, larger screen, the options are endless. Lets just hope they think the same way we do

Thinking about this a little more wouldn't it be possible to put some kind of watch battery in the remote to power the screen? Would we see a long enough increase in player battery life for it to be worth it (I really know very little about this kind of thing)

they could add the cordless remote option too! To have a small plugin into the remote jack of the main unit and that broadcasts the signal to the remote! And it would only need like a 1-2m distance to send signal...

and dont forget a remote case :p haha! Mine has a bad scratch on it already :( damn jeans!!!

I think wireless remotes just cause so much hassle when it comes to creating radio transmitters (re: the law).

That idea about the watch battery for the remote (AAA's even?) would be cool. 35++ hours.. eeee :D

I once thought something like this:
"man, i wish they just put a watch battery in the M3 for a clock feature. that'd be sweet."

Maybe the remote could do it? *shrugs helplessly*

Nice to see some official people on these forums.
Feel free to hang around a bit. I'm sure a lot of users (including me) will appreciate this.

I hope that you also mean "very good" by "very very interesting"

Well, that isn't really hard is it.
H300 = the suck

Anyways - you don't need to tell me that - tell the other people. I'm not under any NDA, but Cowon would still send over a hitman! (but you still know more than I do)

Not sure If I want to hear that, gonna buy my M3 any day now (tomorrow maybe? The shop'll get more this week and I've managed to reserve one...)
But maybe I should wait and check out the new hd player in november? If it'll be at least a 40 gb player that is...
Ahh I hate buying stuff, always sometyhing new on the horizon... :)

It's always the same in the tech world. There is always newer better stuff. Theorethically you could wait till you die and still not get the best, because as soon as you are holding something in your hands there will be newer tech out.

ya thats the only thing i hate about the tech world...you can get something good right now...but even in a year there will be something 2 times better and even cheaper probably!
