Ok, I just got a few questions, I'd greatly appreciate it if you guys can answer em (and only if you're 100% certain). Dont have to answer all, anyone you'd like.

1. Well, whoever owns this already, are you satisfied with it? Should I go ahead with X5 20gig or 30gig? Any difference other than gigs?

2. How fast does it ship if you bought it from Cowon?

3. Can you please tell me exactly what you get in the package? And what might ship later, or not at all (meaning you have to buy seperate)?

Thats it, I'd love it if anyone took the time to answer these. Thanks.

1. Just got mine yesterday so haven't really had the time to really explore it, but so far I'm really satisfied with it.
Theres no difference between the 20gig and the 30gig version except for the gigs (and price).

2. No idea.

3.
You get the iAudio X5 :o
A sub-pack (a small adapter that goes in the bottom of the player that gives you line-in, line-out, USB and power connections - so you need it if you want to charge it).
You get a USB OTG cable that allows you to connect your camera directly to it.
And a 3,5mm stereo cord that is male on both ends that allows you to connect your line-out to your stereo for instance or record from another device (an amped mic, MD, etc.).
You get the USB cable to connect it to your PC (the sub-pack is required).
You get an AC Adapter (which also requires the sub-pack).
You get a pair of headphones (earbuds), not that greate in my opinion but you can't expect much from bundeled headphones.

This is what I got, doesn't have to be the same everywhere but I think it will be. This is probably the "basic" package and I doubt that anyone will sell it with less periperals.

Whats missing and that you have to buy seoarately if you want it is the cradle, the remote (supposed to be the same as on the m3) and a carrying case.

Are any companies selling these yet?

Can't you just drive over to Burlington, VT or something, like I used to do for cigarettes when I was living in Que. Like, order it to be delivered to a Post office south of the border.

How is my favorite city in the world... I used to live on Plateau - Rue St Andre, then moved to Rue St. Joseph - that was in the mid 90s

TangoCore, there are no customs fees on mp3 players bought from the U.S. coming to Canada. What there might be are duties charged by the shipping company that Suntec uses. You can contact ask Suntec who they use to ship to Canada and the call that shipping company to find out the duties they'll charge.. Oh and you might be charged tax (GST) as well but I can't remember.. Canadian Customs can tell you.

.. oh and I don't think Cowan ships to Canada. I didn't see options for shipping to Canada but I could be wrong.

Thanks alot tj. I planned to get it this coming weekend, but I kinda wanna see what suntec will offer too, they were supposed to have it already as I was told weeks ago.

One more thing I wanted to know, what the cradle be good for? And the remote? Is it worth getting them, or waste of money?
Im probably gonna buy the case for 20 bucks also, looks ok.

Theres no real need for the cradle, it has the exact same functions as the sub-pack.

It's just good looking and something that you have on your desk to put your X5 in so you don't have to mess with any cables.

I'm thinking of buying one since I'm planning on keeping my X5 for a while, but I'm not rushing it.

If the remote is woth it or not is up to you. I haven't made up my mind yet. Can't find it in any stores with it either but I'll wait eitherway to see how I handle it without a remote.
