D2 USB Problem!

Hi!

When i plug mi D2 in any usb ports on my computer (win xp + sp2) nothing happen... Win don´t recognize the device and D2 don´t turn on in usb/charging mode...

please help-me!

Try a different cable and make sure you have it plugged all the way in to the D2.

Also try using a different computer to see whether it works there.

Does the battery charge when connected over USB?

Do you have MTP mode or MSC mode enabled in the settings? (although it should still work either way).

If you're in MSC mode, do other USB mass storage devices (flash disks, media players, external hard disks) connect ok to your computer?

hi!
No... when i connect the usb nothing happen... and if i push power button D2 turn on normally...
msc mode and no other usb storage devices are connected at the same time...

I get a replacement.

Seems like you have a hardware failure rather than a software issue. Almost like the controller chip for the USB is bad.

This happened to my Uncle's new D2 not long after he began using it.

COWON Support got back to him immediately and offered a replacement/return - it was painless and easy. Well, except for the waiting period to get his new D2 (which works great, BTW).
