Jetaudio problem??

I've been using jetaudio for years now....I had jetaudio 6 plus vx and installed jetaudio 7 plus vx and now no video's will play...audio works fine...but when I try to start a video a window pops up and says "jetaudio encountered a problem and needs to close".
Anyone know why this happened....I might of even happened before I installed the new version....I've even tried reinstalling it like 3 times and still does it...I even reinstalled the jetaudio 6 plus vx and that gives me the same message...

Please if anyone could help it would be appreciated...I use it all the time...thanks..

I reverted back to 6.2.8.9938 plus vx...I still have the problem...apperently it's not just a jetaudio problem...because when I run my videos through gspot...this the message I get with my videos...

It is possible, perhaps even likely, that other media players will crash when they attempt to play this file as well, as most of them will also use DirectShow. This is really bugging me...not sure what to do other than reformat my pc....this never happened to me before..

Just wanted to update incase anyone ever has this problem...

Well for some reason I had to download and install ffdshow on my pc...I already had it on my pc but for some reason when I downloaded it and installed it now all my videos play fine...thank God I don't have to reformat..[biggrin]

Not sure why this happened...I had bought and ipod touch and had to install itunes and quicktime...and it seemed like the problem started after that but not really sure...btw I returned the ipod touch...

Maybe a corrupted/obsolete file or something, if installing different programs created/solved the problem. Glad it's working anyhow.

Yes I believe you might be right doniago....and yeah I'm sooo glad it's working too..:)

btw I updated to jetaudio 7 plus vx and everything works fine..

I just love this jetaudio software....been using it for 3 years...awesome program...I love how divx pro works within it..
