Nice review, i hope someone will reassure me on this :
"The hugest interface drawback with the M3, however, is the complete lack of track sorting. Believe it or not, no, you can’t sort by artist, album, song, or otherwise. You’re left to navigate your thousands-large collection of audio files entirely by filename (yeah right), folder, or user-created playlist (m3u or dynamically created). This is a huge problem for any player with as much storage capacity as the M3, and is perhaps its greatest issue."
Can this be fixed by firmware or am i going to have to put up with it?
All files are sorted in alphabetical order on the M3.
I can live with that without prroblems.
Surely, a new firmware could add more sorting options.
Huh?
You just have to have your stuff organised propperly and it's fine (like in proper folders and stuff). That guy is talking about id3 tag browsing there.

Indeed, I mean it's the advantage of the file-folder system that you can arrange your own system and set your own priorities in organizing your music collection. At first you have some work to do so but afterwards you have a reliable system.
Alright, an id3 based navigation is a good thing if you once want to search one specific song but if you prefer to hear your music in complete albums, I personally prefer the folder based navigation.
