Ah, fellow comic book readers. Hello. ^_^
I read "Cable & Deadpool" myself. That, and Excalibur. What about you all?

The Authority ranks as my favorite right now.
Followed by Batman and then
JLA.

Anybody know of where to get "The Absolute Authority" by any chance?

Not me, sorry. There is one comic shop out here. I could keep an eye out for it if you like. Have you tried special ordering it from a book store? Normally they'll order pretty much anything if you ask them nicely.

aeowap, nope...most of them say: Place an order, and we'll let you know...bunch of jerks!
Thanks anyway.

Is this a hardcover book, then?

it was a limited run....Absolute edition books are supposedly all the beest issues of the series, but since there weren't many books to begin with, it's the entire series compilation.
So yeah...it's a pretty hard find. I found vol 1 for $150 yikes!
I'll have to wait for a second printing.

Awesome, a fellow comic book reader for a good decade and more! Current favorites are Ex-Machina, and Y The Last Man. I really miss Joe Casey's writing on WildC.A.T.s volume 3. I wish Jim Lee and co. had allowed Casey and Nguyen to finish their run.

I'm a huge Jim Lee fan and am looking forward to his collaboration with Frank Miller this summer.

By the way, Authority rocks too! It's weird, I started out as a huge Marvel fan boy, then stopped reading in college. When I got back into it, I started reading Batman (HUSH) because Jim Lee was on it, and since then I've remained a DC fan (partly because all the Wildstorm comics are now part of DC).

I have been reading Wildstorm comics from the start. Before that I read mostly marvel.I dig the wilcats, and authority. If you like the autority series check out "kev" and "more kev". The recent warblade mini series was good too...

Didn't check out that Warblade mini... didn't really dig the art, but I did read Kev and More Kev. Wasn't too bad, Authority Revolution is pretty good.

Kev was the last Authority series I read.
What is Authority Revolution? Is it hte next set of singles?
I should keep up more, but all this job stuff gets in the way!

It's a year long series, description from DC Comics, Long thought dead, Henry Bendix has secretly been running the world for years! Now the Authority is back — under new leadership — and they're on a collision course with their ex-Weatherman! Plus, the debut of a new team member!

Drawn by Dustin Nguyen, one of my favorite artists currently.

I'll probably wait for the TPB.
Authority is hot.....though Millar and Ellis was probably the best.
Can't wait to check out Absolute Batman.
I'm thinking of picking up Hush.
The Superman/Batman and Superman/Batman/Supergirl one looks pretty tight too.
