Does anyone know if Cowon accepts feature requests from the public anywhere, like an online wish-list form?

Obviously ID3 browsing for the X5 is a major one, but I'd love to be able to name radio stations (which is surely very easy firmware upgrade). So how do I ask Cowon?

You could send Cowon an email.
Or maybe you can let eXity and Austin know you're wishes, because they have contact with Cowon.

Hey neave, we were actually talking about just that in a previous thread. What we would like to do and thanks to Bradavon for the engenious idea, is write an email / wish list (reasonable one to, no asking for voice recognition or 5mp camera or anything rediculous) of just 1 or two of the most requested feature we would like to see in the next firmware upgrade for the x5 / m5. How about we start a thread to to do the research Bradavon? To see what do people really want the most.

hmm...did not find too many post of x5 though. I left a post. Does Cowon respond to these request with infor on whether it's posible or not?

I was actually thinking of the same idea!!!
But I fought we could make a very simple site...With top 10 requests and people could vote and do suggesstions (stupid suggestions could be easily cleared)
We would do it in english and everybody in the world could participate!
So for Cowon it would be easy just check the website and they have our requests
What do you think??

I think we would need at least 2 good webdesigner...(so it looks good!)

We could also do a kind of blog/ wiki
I don't know which would look the best and (maybe the easiest!)

I'm not sure about wiki but the blog should suffice. I know some web design but not enough java and I think we should have some scripting in this for it be attractive and functional. It should be able to database request, for querying or filtering and create some kind of report. What ever it is we should start soon, because if the news is correct, we should see the first x5 with in the next 7 - 10 days.

Does anyone want to volunteer to build a very simple yet professional looking website hosted by yahoo (free as far as I know). Oh just shot my self in the foot. Yahoo does not allow scripting on ther hosts or domain. We would need a hosts that will give us at least 30mb of space.

I bet they are a lot of people who got domains and could lend us a little bit of space :)
Maybe Iaudiophile could sponsor us!!
Blog would be good
With a Top 10 and a system of vote...ore something like that!
I'm pretty good in graphics but scirpting not my stuff!

Personally a thread on this site followed by an e-mail to Cowon would be enough IMO.

Yeah I could make something like you've mentioned, but I think just a list and an email would suffice... these forums can't do polls but there are plenty of free poll-making sites, so maybe we (or iaudiophile.net) could set up a poll?

Well everybody is making sense. Simple yet effective is what we want. But the question is will Cowon respond to us. I would hate to spend the time and effort for nothing. If it is a thread on this site then I would like to see an authorized person from Cowon at least respond and say..... "Working on it" or "Sorry guys not in cards, will never happen". We have been following this subject for more than half a year. How about a reward for our efforts huh Cowon? So what will it be? And when do we get started?
