Just got my new D2 - love it! The difference in sound quality between my old iPod mini and the D2 is like night and day.

One minor problem, and I've searched high and low for the answer, is that I can't reset the thing back to factory settings. The manual refers to selecting Video>Settings>Picure>Record from the main menu, then switching off and on again to get back to the locale selection screen. Trouble is, since mine is the DAB model, and the menu is for the standard D2, the menu layout is different from the pictures in the manual.

The icons referred to in the manual reset procedure are 4 points arranged in a square, so as well as selecting the actual icons I've also tried replicating the 4 points on the screen I'd have to touch if I had a standard D2, but to no avail.

All suggestions appreciated.

Did you select the physical place on the screen shown in the picture? I had also a problem
with resetting and for me this procedure helped: select the 2. icon in the first row, then
select the 3. icon in the second row, then 3. item in first row and last 2. item in second
row.
Did you press the RESET button before starting the above process?

I think, you can also go to Settings, System, and then select "Load Default". But I am
not sure, if this will reset the D2 to factory defaults. I have never tried it.

Worked first time. I thought I'd tried that way already, but apparently I hadn't - obviously gave up far too easily [blush]

Thanks!
