Group 3: X7 online signature for discussion

As I mentioned previously, I do think the petition itself can be signed as a thread in this very forum. That way there is evidence of actual committed people (registered users), and Doniago can also remove posts by possible spammers/morons.

What do other users think? Should we have a special page for the purpose instead? Can anyone provide such a page?

having to sign up to this forum if you are already not a user has its pros and cons. I think that if we do set up one topic for petition signers, this will most likely show 'committed people'.

On the other hand there may be other users from the outside e.g. head-fi or dapreview who may not want to sign up to this site just to post 1 message.

Maybe a site like http://www.petitiononline.com/ may have more of a recognition between people, once a letter is written up.
