So I got Puzzle Bobble (aka BustaMove Clone) and it works no problem except you can't get past the start screen.

It uses the up arrow to fire and side arrows to move left right
But you can't play cause it needs you to press "Enter" at the start
If someone could extract the game and recompile so that the Down arrow is "enter" that would be perfect!

:Edit:
I got it from here: http://www.ventoline.com/frozenbubble/bustamove.html
Last time I checked Bustamove comes with all versions of Linux for free ... I don't think it is copyrighted and if it is they have lost their rights for not defending their product.

I'd like a statement that this isn't a copyrighted version of the game.

It works great on d2, except for the music and sounds of course... the frames drops a little when you shot a ball and there are several balls on screen, but you play just fine... if the admins don't have problem, i can post it already hacked...

I would like to hear specifically whether this is a version of a game that people are generally supposed to be paying for. If it's freeware, fine and good.

I guess you could always beg the game-developer (nils"an_at_sign_here"2ice.net) to make a special D2 version and mention that he would make a lot of D2 and Clix users happy. [yes]

Why don't you post just a patch to apply on the file, this avoids any copyright issues.

Sorry for not being clear.

If there is some executable code available for download and I have doubts that I can offer the modified code as a download, I could do the following:

- give a link to the original download
- offer a patch file which I personally generated as download so everybody can create the modified binary from these two sources
