backlight is broken

my player fell down. accidentally it fell on the headphone jack. the jack was pushed into the player. it looked very bad. i took the jack and pull it back. it clicked and everything looked ok. but i tried to switch the player on. and there was no light. but it is playing normally. stereo, no problems, even after that the half of the jack waspushed in for 3mm :( can you help me? how to repair the backlight?
