X5 and album art

many of my albums have the cover art directly in the folder. wouldn't it be wonderfully fantastic if the x5 automatically displayed the cover art of the album im listening to? wow that would tickle me silly.

a simple firmware update or is this already a feature?

no, x5 doesnt show album cover right now.
it may be possible with firmware update, hard to say.

The A2 will have this feature, I assume that the screen resolution of the X5 is too small to do it.

or more likely the firmware doesn't support it. You can't display pictures while playing music which is essentially the same thing.

.... but displaying pictures while listening to music should be an immediate firmware upgrade. i believe this was the case with iriver 3xx.

No with iriver h300 still can't do it!
I think it is too demanding for the disk...but I really don't know since there is a buffer for the music

The Ipod photo display the picture sleeve while playing songs..

It has a higher resolution I don't think the sleeve would fit with the lower resolution and still have all the other info, I'm not sure though. The player probably doesn't have enough processing power to view images with music because it needs to resize the photos and stuff.
