Some drive icons I made for D2 and SDHC card. PNG images included for dock icons. To install copy icon and autorun.inf to root folder of your D2 or SD Card.
You can change the drive label by editing the autorun.inf in notepad.

I guess this is just for windows? Cuz in linux I'm pretty sure that all we have to do is right click an icon, and select an image from the hard drive of the computer. I don't think we need to put anything on the player itself, unless i'm not completely understanding what is being done here...

How can i replace the icon on my computer window without any software?

It's very easy. The file in the first post includes the two things you need: the icon files, and the autorun.inf file.
The autorun.inf file is theone that tells Windows which icon to display when you connect your D2 or your SDHC card, and how to label your player. It says something like this:

icon=icon.ico
label=WHATEVER YOU WANT

If you open autorun.inf with Notepad, you can modify the name of the icon file to be displayed, and the label of the player. Then, all you have to do is save the changes, unplug and reconnect your D2 and presto! New icon!

PD: Guys, the icons are very good but I would really appreciate a Transcend 8GB and a OCZ 8GB card icons. Thank you!
