Hi,

I have transferred some wav music files to my iAudio 6 and I can se them in my display. But when I try to play, it lookes as if it is going to play, but then quickly swithes to another file, an mp3 instead.
I bought iAudio to be able to play wav, does anyone have a solution?
(English is not my native language, I hope you understand what I mean)

Thanks in advance for any help!

What are the specs of your wav files?

Hi,

I have the latest firmware 1.27 in iAudio 6.

My wav-files are converted from cd to wav non-lossy, using Windows Media-player version 11. Bitrate 1411 kbit/s, 16 bit stereo, 44 kHz, PCM. That is the default setting i Mediaplayer.

But I also have an other program, Switch, where I can decide encoding on wav from from 11,025 kHz up to 48 kHz but the highest bit rate there is 172 kbit/s at 44,1 and 187 kbit/s at 48 kHz.

It is very important that the output is as non-lossy as possible.

Thank you for trying helping me.

Early in the morning here, so my brain's a bit addled, but according to the Cowon website WAV files should be "WAV : ~48khz, 16bit, mono/stereo". If your files match those specs than I think they should be playing okay. If not then that's probably the problem.

Sorry I can't be more helpful right now.

Thank you, I tested as you suggested, and it works just fine!

Now I am happy again!
