Having problems with VirtualDub

I started by using DVD Decrypter to copy the .VOB files over to my computer and then following the instructions in the sticky for copying it onto the D2. When I try to convert the .VOB into avi files all but one episode works perfectly. For the one episode that doesnt work it only imports about 400 frames into virtual dub, if I play the copied .VOB it does actually play the entire episode. Any ideas what I could use to do the initial Copy from a .VOB to avi
