BASIC diff. between m5 and x5...

ok, so I just got the PSP so I dont really care about video on my mp3 player.. SO I think I may buy the m5L instead of the x5, also the video sucks on x5 (15 fps)..

But what exactly am I losing when going with the m5 instead of x5 other than video and pics??

I hear that m5 wont have USB OTG?? Is this true?

Also, will the M5 be smaller than x5 since it wont do the extra stuff x5 can??

Noone knows, everything is just speculation, all we know for sure is that the M5 will not be color.

The snapped slides of a Cowon presentation seemed to indicate the M5 will be B&W, no video support, but hardware wise will be virtually the same as the X5. But, we'll have to wait and see.....

and as far as what you'll lose, the color screen obviously, and likely the USB OTG (just a guess)

I got a psp too.. it has nice big screen but memory stick duos is expensive and space is limited..
i hate converting files into mpeg4..
anyway the point is.. I want A2.. , the real pmp.. :)

I hate how people act as if the psp is a pmp, sure, it you want to pay hundreds of dollars for one gig of memory, added onto the cost of the system.

USBOTG without a colour screen is pretty useless. Sure it has uses but they're limited.

I'm sure I read it was the same as the X5 but minus video, colour screen and USBOTG. As for when it's coming after the X5 and X5L. I've not heard anything about it recently.

The M5 is coming out way later, I don't know how far later but the X5 is their main priority, so I'd expect after the 60GB X5 even.

A tuned down version of the x5 doesn't sound very exciting...

I was hoping the M5 to a even slicker designed version of the M3. Maybe a little smaller in terms of size but with a larger hd, and still as heavy. And then a color screen on the remote.
