View Full Version : album art format
I was wondering if the album art has to have a specific name or be in a certain format (e.g. embedded) before it will display as the wallpaper if you have album art selected. I do, and they rarely show up, only once so far...

either tag them into the songs.
or put the album art JPEG into the album folder as "cover.jpg" without the quotes.
Tagging > cover.jpg
How do you tag them into songs?? Thanks btw.

first you have to get some JPEGs of the album art. i used google images, but different people use different sites...
after you get those, get an ID3 tagging program. I use mp3tag, but i've heard of mediamonkey and some other programs you can use.
in mp3tag, you drag n drop your album in, highlight the songs, drag n drop the jpeg into the album art square in the bottom left, and press save.
if you don't wanna go through all that, just use the cover.jpg way. seems easier, but i'm just really picky about my tags, which is why i tag my album art
what i'm wondering is, is album art on the i7 and U3 resized to 100 x 100 in the background? or is it resized to 128 x 128 to take up the whole screen up&down?
Have tried chaning the names to cover.jpg but it doesn't work for some reason...
I tried this as well to no avail.
