Album art display questions

i've read that for the D2, album art can either be tagged into the songs in an album, or just put in the album folder as a JPEG to be displayed.

does the same apply to the i7? could i just save a few JPEGs into my album folders and have them show up during playback?

I tried it for the I6, placing a JPEG into a music folder, set the display option to show Album Art but it failed! Nothing happend when I played a song from the specific folder.

I hope it's possible for the I7 though!

Maybe Cowon can add this feature to his "left-alone-I6" :) I dont want to inject a jpeg into each song!!

Well it does work at least for album art included directly within the mp3 files - no idea how it is done, but I was surprised seeing one when I played back an mp3.

is album art resized to 100 x 100 like other players?

or 128 x 128 to take up the whole background up&down?

I have seen album art appear for one album so far, and it was just a jpeg file that was included automatically in the folder by Windows with some weird string for a filename so I think it just needs to be embedded to be honest.
