I station are available in Korea only so there is no point comparing the q5 with something you cant buy unless your in Korea

Uh...
It's difficult, buy you can get the older i-Station in other places other than Korea (http://www.coolzet.com/). You'll need to use the contact buttons to get the rest... their online store is (always) Under Construction.

but i think i-stations are better than the q5.....
really bad that you could only buy it in korea

Ok I have an I-Station and I can say now that it didn't meet up to my expectations and I gave away my Cowon A2 to get. (Big mistake). Anyway with the I-Station you have an MP3 and movie player that makes it akward to adjust at their bad system of making playlist. It doesn't make it any better that the buttons are confusing. Plus, there are so many different models that you might get upset because you didn't buy the right model. Their funtionality for each version is totally different and you might not get what you were expecting. Also, there isn't a lot of firmware support making it a big downside to it. I like how Cowon push out firmware it fix little issues that really were important to me and made my Cowon run smoother. Plus that Coolnet (The only English site for the I-Station) site just doesn't do it for me. I don't really get any help by going to that site. True I haven't visited that site in a couple months but I wasn't impressed. When I get the money or when the price drops I will be buy a Cowon which one I don't know because I thought I would buy an A3 but the X7 looks like it might really grab my eye. there are freakin' i-stations everywhere here now, they are more common than cowon. IMHO, they look cheap, and of a q5 and a istation next to each other, you got to laugh. the q5 is huge.
