Video on SD

Why would it be that I can get to my music on the SD but not be able to find the videos through the video player? Thanks for any help.

The newest firmware adds songs from the SD card into the music list, but doesn't support movies yet.

so video has to go onto the memory of the D2 itself to play...correct?

No that's not correct. Videos play on the SD card just as on the D2's internal memory. What W33nie was referring to was if you have music on the SD card, it automatically shows up together with the music in the internal memory when you browse. Now, if you have videos on both the SD card and the internal memory, you have to browse to the their respective roots to play videos. Nothing bad, but it is a bit annoying. I find it best to keep all of the videos on one device.

Yeah basically what omjeremy said is correct. also it is possible to just keep skipping onto the next movie clip and you will both go through the internal memory and the SD memory without ever needing to go into the roots.
