It looks like the 1.30 Final has been pulled from the Korean website.

I have had no problems with the firmware, but perhaps you should stick to the 1.30b2 for now until all problems are fixed.

It seems to be back:

Hmmm... here's the English translation, courtesy of Babelfish:

How are you, well! it is a primitive stem.

The problem point which occurs rarely from the iAUDIO M3 firmware 1.30 formal version which is announced in complete change being grasped, it is to in the process of amending a corresponding problem point.

To the customer field which uses 1.30 formal versions regret is first to give a speech,
Unavoidably 1.30b2 the RAID of knock-down it does in beta versions and or 1.25 formal versions it will use and the fact that it gives.
To solve a speed governing problem and is stabilized in the new version which the reel li cu in order to do.

The test gives is not thorough the point one apple speech again.

Thank you.

Does anyone have further information regarding this? Yesterday I had to reset my M3 for the first time in ages, and earlier there was an issue whereby the drive would not mount under Windows until I restarted the computer.

Cheers,
James

I haven't had any problems at all yet...

Updated my M3L with the 1.30 Final two days ago: some files got skipped (namely ogg files) systematically while playing (worked fine with the previous firmware)...

ex: played first ogg file, then played third ogg file directly instead of second one... :(

That's weird? I haven't got any problems at all, but I'm using all mp3 and the shuffle function...

It seems to be back now?

A few minutes ago I experienced the track skipping problem. I was using the final 1.30e that reappeared on the site. I think I may downgrade until a future firmware fixes this.

Oh I'm using ogg btw.

Someone on the iAUDIO forum mentioned that 1.30final was cutting off bits of files (a few seconds from the start)

I don't know myself, I'm still with 1.30b2, was going to upgrade, but I might hold back a little bit if there are problems.
