Cowon released version 1.14 for the F2 [biggrin]

[Improved Features & Fixed Bugs]

- Support to change the state of album art wallpaper when changing mode
- Fixed the error not to play a bookmarked file in Record or DPL folder.
- Fixed the error to play a FLAC file converted with some converting programs
- Fixed the error to display white screen occasionally when turing LCD in Hold mode
- Fixed the error of the recorded file list after deleting a file
- Fixed the error to display Browser when deleting a movie file.
- Fixed the error to save the wallpaper while viewing pictures

Note: i never really ran into these bugs besides the 6th bug

The upgrading application says that both the current version and the upgrade version are 01.13.
But after upgrading, the device shows 1.14

I notice the GUI acts weird when changing songs. It seems like its having a hard time rendering whats on the screen. And it doesn't fix the ogg issue!

I also found that the fonts changed and no longer display non-latin characters correctly while playing the song. In the file browser it is still OK.

i have the problem of a white screen when i release the hold button, hopefully this upgrade gets rid of that problem

I noticed that the Info screen (from Settings) now puts the numbers on separate lines, so that the characters don't overlap (e.g., on 4gb model). A minor thing, but an improvement. :-)

Firmware 1.14 is buggy and lags. go back to 1.13

Can you be more specific about the bugs? I haven't noticed any problems lately.

when i switch tracks the screen lags and the frame rate is off by alot. i never had any screen flicker before till now.

yes when moving from one screen to another menu screen, the new display rolls into view, at least my white screen is fixed

Hmm, seems to work fine for me... I wonder how many people are having this problem?
