are there any online stores that sell 8gb silver i7's and ship to US?

i want 8 gigs, but that red is a big turnoff for me

Says "black" in the drop-down menu at the bottom but I presume that's the same as the silver version. Pretty sure they ship to the US as well if you ask nicely.

pretty bad... but not THAT bad considering how at places like warehouse123, the shipping is $26

Yes 'black' is black and silver. 'Red' is red and black. I did actually post a place with lower price (but I don't know if they will ship to USA), however AMP3 will price match (but maybe not if other place wouldn't have sold to you).

The 8 gigs have the red metal trim, it's not an option. Personally I think it's very attractive, kinda sporty.

naw, those people up there are right. only in the US are we forced to get 4gb silver and 8gb red. in euro and korea, the storage capacity and color criss-cross [yes]

Correct - as a quick trip to the amp3 website will show, you can have either size in either colour .. although there is some confusion about whether the non-red one is called 'silver' or 'black'.

but their prices... maybe i'm doin something wrong, but the 8gb i7 was 149.99 pounds at amp3. that converted through google came out to a whopping $307.65!!! [blink]

at newegg, the 8gb is $200...

is this right?

It's pretty close alright, the dollar is REALLY low against the pound and Euro, as ya can see, 1 pound gets you just over 2 dollars.
