I was wondering if there is anyone else from Ireland here looking at getting a X5. I'd like to know where they are thinking of ordering it from, as I'm still looking for the best deal.
I've seen the X5L 30GB that I'm interested in on mp3-player.de for €440ish delivered. Is there anywhere else that would better this price to Ireland?

Also, are these prices set in stone or could they change closer to the release date?
Thanks

If you want to order from Germany you could try to use www.geizhals.at/de . They List the prices of lots of internet shops in Germany. The site is in german, but we use lots of english words for technical terms, so you won't have problems to find your way through. One hint: german for HDD is "Festplatte" ;-)

Edit: Of course the prices can change after release. So i think that we won't have to hurry...

Hi Paul,

How's it going? I'm living in Ireland myself. I've pre-ordered my X5 60G from mp3-player.de. It came to €518.90 including tax and delivery, and they told me that there shouldn't be any other charges onto that. Since the 60G version isn't released untill after the 20/30G, they said it should arrive in June( the 20G/30G versions should arrive end of April/early May).

I'm not sure if it's the cheapest, but they were the only people to offer the 60G pre-order and shipping to Ireland at the time, and I'm not very patient so I just wanted to get it as soon as I could.

They don't have an English version of the site, so babelfish came in handy for my dodgy German. But I certainly can't complain about mp3-player.de, service has been good so far.

That link above leads you right to the X5L 30Gb, which is in stock from what others are saying elsewhere.
I'm having some trouble also, does anyone know if they take credit card. I'm looking at there first order page after the shopping basket and as far as I can see there are 3 methods;

1.) Collect it from the shop and pay for it in person.
2.) Send them the money in the post, may also mean a C.O.D. setup, not sure.
2.) Do a wire transfer to there bank account, the details will be emailed on after the order is placed.

No credit card?

P.S.; They have a offer, a free docking station if you order the X5L before 31st May

Yes, it's available. It says it'll usually ship in 1 or 2 days.
