How to upgrade firmware?

Hi all. My i7 just arrived and I have heard the latest firmware makes vast improvements. However, I have no idea how to install the firmware, having never owned a Cowon player before.

Would someone be kind enough to explain to me how to do it?

hello again :)

plug the device to your PC. wait for a context box to pop-in aking what you want to do with the device. tell it to open by folder. then download the latest Firmware v.1.12 (http://download.cowon.com/data/C08/I7_FW_1.12.zip). next open JetShell (you can download the latest here (http://www.cowonglobal.com/))then you'll be able to see the Data folder or something similar. just Drag&Drop

or place the unpacked firm at root of player, restart, and thats done!
