View Full Version : Since this has Windows CE, it's basically a Pocket PC right?
Because my sister is a pharmacist and she wants a new PDA and GPS device. She's a COWON fan, but needs to run her pharmacy related programs. If they run on Windows CE (I'll have to check) it'll run on this right? Because if not, she'll be getting the HP rx5900 travel companion.

If it allows extra programs to run, then yes it will work.
The only thing we can do is wait and see :-)

So does this have a user replaceable battery, or is it the world's first DISPOSABLE pocket PC? (Or don't we know?).

As long as a battery can be sourced and you have a screwdriver then YES it will be replaceable!

Ah, standard screws and no soldering required then? If so that is a step in the right direction. Anyone actually taken the back off yet??

So I'm thinking of getting a laptop for when I go on my travels, wanted something on the small and light side, since discovering the Q5 I'm wondering if that will do? Only really wanted a laptop for checking emails and using some kind of messenger whilst I'm away.
Ultimately the main use would be what it was mainly built for that being music, videos ect...
So will this do me?

Sounds ideal, as long as you have access to a Wi-Fi connection and have power to charge your Q5.
