View Full Version : Ways to get into programming a Flash app?
Just wondering what ways there are to get into programming a Flash application? I don't have any experience with Flash although I've done some programs in COBOL, and Visual Basic before, and it seems I could program a few simple apps for the D2 (ie a calculator for some formulas I work with etc) for my own personal use if I could learn to use Flash.
Download Flash CS from adobe.com (Previously it was from macromedia) you will have a full feautured 30-days trial. Read some online step-by-step tutorials.
Following site was so useful for me,

how about flex 2.0? can you develop a flex 2.0 app that will work on the d2?
Hey, I'm pretty ignorant in this particular field, but intrigued by the possibilities offered by:

Purports to render .swf movies with javascript functionality.
Like I said, I'm way out of the loop here, but someone who knows javascript and XML might be able to vet this? If it is as promising as it seems, I'm willing to pick up the java skills...
