OGG Bass Noise - Issue

I'd consider buying one. But I'm pretty sure it will have the same OGG-Playback problem as my F2 and many other Cowon players.

Does anyone know something about this? What chipset do they use for the iAudio 7?

i haven't heard anything but maybe someone else has. i'm not sure on the chipset as Cowon never gives that detail out to the public. but i do know that the chipset uses less power to operate.

It's an entirely different CPU than what Cowon's other devices use. If it has OGG playback problems, they will be unrelated to any that you are currently experiencing. The iAudio G3 has no problems with OGG playback, and I don't share your worries.

I get it on my u3 2gig. But, it's not all that common in reality. I can reproduce it with no problem but it has to be a hard core bass rift at a high quality ogg setting. When I say hard core I mean like Jaco from Weather Report ripping it up at q9. It's kind of annoying.
