Hmm, not really a popular topic, this. [rolleyes]
I do play an instrument, but some people don't think it is an instrument. Sounds like a puzzle, eh?
I play the following:
electric guitar
electric drums
bass (guitar with FX pedals)
Keyboard
and vocals
I do home recording in my studio, you can hear my music and see my gear at the myspace link in my sig.

yeah i play guitar
I've got two electric guitars: one el-cheapo Squier Strat and an Epiphone Les Paul Standard.
I used to play quite a lot, but at the moment I can hardly be called an "active guitar player" [rolleyes]
i play violin! [rolleyes]

I'm a professional musician. Started piano at 5, oboe at 10. Play oboe in two professional orchestras.

I don't have any instrument to play but love to play guitar.
^same. Guitar's fun to just pick up, even though I suck at chord progression (though my hand-strength is getting much better, and the fingers are already broken-in). I don't have an electric, so I stick to an old acoustic that belonged to my mother (she dabbled quite a bit, but never really made her own stuff I guess).
I did classical piano for 5 years when I was very young, but hated it (Asian mother thing), and so forgot a lot of things other than reading western-notation and perhaps a few chords here and there.
fornies: I've been thinking of trying that, but am afraid to since I'm not too good, but it's great to see others who are proficient and make their instruments really sing. Powerchords? Heh....that should make a few purists angry....
I play lead electric guitar in a local rock/metal band. were not very active though (lost the drummer :P)
I play electric and acoustic guitar, but I´m no hero on it...
Amateur pipe organ player, I am. Some piano occasionally too.

When I was in grade school I wanted to play the cello. After the first week the teacher invited me to leave. Apparently I have no sense of rythmn. :)

Looks like my Bass :P
Well... maybe I just want it to look like my Bass :D because I can make out very little detail from that pic.
You play a Steinberger? Sweet. :)
Here's a less "artistic" photo:
