Mm..I'm new to using the D2 and I tried to play my videos with the program that comes with the CD(JetShell) but it was just a blank black screen. So I went to upgrade my firmware and downloaded the jetAudio to convert/encode the video but now it tells me that it will only convert/encode 30 seconds and that I have to pay 30 dollars to do the whole thing?!

Someone please tell me I'm doing something wrong, because making you pay for the encoding/converting program ontop of paying for the D2 was not expected.

You should have a CD with JetAudio Basic on it. It is the same CD that has JetShell on it.

You can download the Cowon Media Center (JetAudio 7.0.2) here:

http://www.cowonglobal.com/zeroboard/zboard.php?id=C08&page=1&sn1=&divpage=1&bmenu=download&category=2&sn=off&ss=on&sc=on&select_arrange=headnum&bmenu=download&desc=asc&no=266&bmenu=download

It is an upgrade to JetAudio Basic and is free.

You have to pay to get JetAudio Pro Features.
