really messed up screen

My brand new F2 (firmwar 1.1) screen suddenly died - from one day to the next. I get the welcome screen, and the goodbye screen but just blue and white rectangles in between. I tried the reset button - no effect. The only thing I ever did with the things was change the USB connection mode so I could listen to one lousy DRM file I downloaded and it was fine one day -gone the next. Short of returning it to the store, and probably being without it for a month, are there any other options to try? I reformatted it using Jetshell and there was no change.

player maybe defective. send it back for a replace or buy another DAP like the U3 or T2 depending on where you got it from. Newegg, Amazon and Jetmall.net has good deals. try ordering if you can't get your F2 fixed.
