[mad] Hi my A2 ac charger is broken. I got a spark while charging, thankfully nothing happened to the A2. Does anyone know how I can obtain a new one? I thought of claiming under warranty as my A2 is only 5 months old, I tried emailing Cowan at iAUDIOhelp1@cowan.com, but my message won't deliver.

Is there a website where I can buy one? .........desperate!!!!

For now you can charge from your computer (make sure to move the switch on the bottom from LCD to Hold). It's slow, but it works.

If you have a cel phone, check it's charger. It may work (mine does). make sure the polarity is correct.

Replacement chargers are $12 at jetmall.net

For the benefit of the OP, it is COWON, not CowAn - another example where inability to spell right could cost you money! And yes, they should replace it (or discuss the matter with the place you bought it from).

Thanks for the tips AND THE SPELLING CORRECTION, I blame my nibble fingers.

Don't nibble your fingers then. 8>.

Seriously I've seen several reports of problems with A2 chargers, so maybe there was a bad batch. I'd use USB charging, and chase Cowon to replace the broken one, you spent enough money already.

Not that replacements are all that expensive, but 'you get what you put up with (in life in general)', so for the benefit of future customers you/we shouldn't be putting up with broken chargers.

If you have a working A2 charger all you need is a plug adaptr to make it work in the UK, if that helps...

And if that doesn't work (or is not what you want), Email the nice people at www.advancedmp3players.co.uk and see if they can help you.

Yeah, can someone test their charger and tell us the polarity please? Where can you get good 2A chargers in the UK?
